In this final online session following our introduction webinars we discuss the the developments and needs of carbon footprining in Logistics in Sweden. This session is open to all shipper, retailers, transport buyers or a Logistics Service Providers in Sweden and Northern Europe looking to measure and reduce their carbon emissions.
During this session we will briefly introduce Lean & Green and Elain, but mostly discuss the developments and needs in the market and the plans for the pilot project in Sweden.
We plan to initiate the Lean & Green Sweden program in collaboration with Elain as a possible solution partner to the program with their clever solution facilitating easy tracking of sustainability performance and emission statistics.
National Partner for pilot project Lean & Green Sweden
With this session we also aim to interest a possible National Partner for Sweden to join the upcoming pilot project. All national programs of Lean & Green are run by local not-for-profit organisations with a logistical network. For the pilot project and the intended national program we hope to find a partner in Sweden.

Workshop Carbon Footprinting
A growing number of both national and multinational companies realize carbon footprinting in logistics is rapidly becoming the new standard and in the near future will be mandatory. Lean & Green and Elain offer solutions to face the challenge of carbon footprinting in logistics.
In this session we will briefly introduce Lean & Green and Elain and discuss the plans for the pilot project in Sweden. About pilot Lean & Green Sweden
Lean & Green International and Elain will be looking for shippers, retailers, transport buyers and logistic service providers in Sweden and Northern Europe who would be interested to participate in a pilot project. The aim of the pilot is to measure and reduce the carbon footprint of the participants and set the foundation for the program in Sweden. Lean & Green International will guide participants through measuring their carbon footprint, giving recognition for past achievements in carbon reductions. Elain will provide participants with the tool to improve their data quality by making primary data collection easy.
Objectives
Firstly, to make the first group of companies in Sweden familiar with the Lean & Green program and support them in the completion of the Lean & Green Action plan and potential Star(s). As ambassadors to the program they together could form the start of a community for sustainable logistics in Sweden, sharing their knowledge and experience.
Secondly, to familiarize companies with the innovative solution of Elain, utilizing data directly from the source to analyse and report emissions.
And finally, to start the Lean & Green program in Sweden with local collaboration. The pilot provides a potential National Partner for Lean & Green (to be decided) the best start possible by the experience gained through the pilot and the first potential participants by the end of the pilot project.
